Suzuki Jimny has been around for a long time, probably longer than most people think. While originally from Japan, the Jimny quickly gained popularity around the globe. It’s a rugged 4×4 off-roader that’s built like a tank and looks like something a Viking would drive.

The Jimny can store whatever awesome stuff (including yourself) you’re bringing with you on your adventure: camping gear, the shopping, your battle axe.

The Jimny cares about one thing: doing cool stuff. City dwellers, campers and adventurer will love it.

The Jimny’s high driving position gives a good view of the road ahead and all-round visibility is excellent, too. The interior is tight but not really cramped. The seats are surprisingly comfortable. Window switches are on the centre dash in front of your left hand. The Suzuki infotainment system is joyfully easy to use.

According to Road & Track, a publication who road tests cars for the automotive enthusiast, the Jimmy is awful on the highway and for the vast majority of people it will be woeful to drive. But you’ll love it all the more as its infectious charm will win you over time and time again—a rare trait in the vast majority of modern SUVs rolling out of factory gates.
