Meet Krystle
Krystle has been an essential part of the Jonday team since the beginning of time! As a long-term employee, starting off as RSO under the supervision of Darla and slowly moving through the ranks to leading a huge team of her own – Krystle has had an incredible 17-year journey within the car rental industry.
As a hardworking leader who has made an incredible impact on everyone’s lives, she has contributed to Jonday’s success by paying attention to the details.
It’s the start of a new day with our new brand
With a stint working for different organisations during our transition from Thrifty Car Rental to Everything Fleet, Krystle has returned this year, with development opportunities and new experiences under her belt – and we are more than happy to have her back!
At Everything Fleet we love celebrating the moments that matter, and this is especially true with Krystle returning. Here’s to many more years to come……
Krystle, tell us a bit about yourself…
What is the funniest situation you have ever come across whist undertaking your job?
Many years ago, we had a crackhead walk into the Logan office wanting to rent a staff member to drive their car (funny, we all thought we were a car rental company but clearly not…), which he was completely incapable of driving in his state at the time.
When we said no and explained we rented cars NOT people, he started yelling throughout the location yard as he was leaving, that we were all from the Logan psychiatric hospital on day release and needed to have adult supervision because we could not run a business.
It didn’t stop there… He then came back about an hour later and said that the owner of the business was his mother, and he was our boss and told us we were all fired…
While not working, what do you do?
Drink wine… HAHA! KIDDING… I love to hang at home with my wife and fur babies and get up to trouble in the paddocks on the ride-on mower.
What was the worst car you have ever owned?
I have never really owned a bad car… My absolutely favourite has to be my little Kia Rio I owned before she blew up… R.I.P Kia!
What is your favourite road trip?
It would have to be the drive from home to Toowoomba… So much beautiful land to explore and we do something different every time we travel that way.
If you were to give your younger self some advice, what would it be?
Stay away from wine… HAHA!! KIDDING again!! The advice I would give to my younger self is, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something… Give it a go and if you fail, remember that fail means First Attempt In Learning!
