Wade, tell us a bit about yourself…
What’s attracted you to the car rental industry?
I always loved cars, and I thought when I was younger I would either be a vehicle salesman or a rental car provider. I have worked with many of the most well-known brands including the Avis Budget group, Enterprise and The Hertz / Thrifty group.
What is your favourite part of industry?
I have had the opportunity to run some amazing branches – Darwin, NT and Cairns, QLD. Both regions have significant natural beauty and tourist attractions and I loved working in cities that felt like paradise. Both also offered great connection to indigenous history and community.
This is what is great about the car rental industry – there is always something new and lots of opportunities to meet people including celebrities!
While not working, what do you do?
I enjoy gaming, the gym and the beach.
What is your favourite car on fleet at Everything Fleet?
The Jimny. It’s a very popular car which all my friends ask about.
What is your favourite road trip?
Gold Coast to Cairns – there are so many places and beaches to stop in and visit along the way.
What do you think everyone should know before renting a car?
The staff are subject matter experts and clients should take advantage of this knowledge and always discuss their vehicle needs so we can recommend the best solution.
