Inessa joined the Everything Fleet Family in 2019. She is super organised and always smiling! She claims she gets this trait from her father – he was a musician, always on stage, making people happy and joking around.

Inessa, tell us a bit about yourself…

After graduating college as a beauty therapist at 19 years old I never dreamed that I would find a career in car rental! I had a few months before going on an adventure around the world with my then boyfriend (now husband), who was working at Sydney airport at the time.  I wanted to work near him so we could have lunch together, so I took a job at a car rental company called Delta  (now Europcar).

I loved the challenge right away and was successful enough to be offered an excellent full-time position when I returned from my travels. Over 3 years I progressed to a Duty Manager position at Sydney airport and then a Branch Manager of Sydney city.

I have stayed in the car rental industry ever since because it has given me so many opportunities — lifestyle, flexibility and knowledge.

How did you come to work for Jonday?

Before the pandemic, I was working at Gold Coast airport and was drawn to the staff members at Jonday/Thrifty.  They were always happy, liked working for their employer and kept asking me to join their team. I took a leap of faith and never looked back!

I feel like a part of a family at work and that is rare nowadays, so when Thrifty Car Rentals, Gold Coast re-established itself as Everything Fleet in 2022, I stayed on and joined the extensive rebranding journey we have all been on.

What is your favourite car on fleet at Everything Fleet?

My favourite car on fleet is the new hybrid Corolla. I am fascinated by how comfortable and quiet it is. Most of all knowing that it’s better for the environment makes it my dream car!
