Leave Entitlements

We strive to ensure the well-being, health and safety of our employees and offer array of leave, under several circumstances:

  • Annual Leave – 4 weeks paid leave per year with leave loading where applicable, with the opportunity to cash-out up to 2 weeks annual leave in any financial year.
  • Purchased Additional Leave – employees may be eligible to purchase up to 2 weeks additional annual leave for each 12 month period and pay for this through payroll deductions.
  • Long Service Leave – 13 weeks long service leave after completing 10 years continuous service, which may be taken pro rata after completing 7 years continuous service.
  • Parental Leave – employees are entitled to up to 12 months of unpaid parental leave.
  • Career/Study Leave – leave without pay options are available to support career development.
  • Sick/Carers Leave – 10 days sick leave per year, which is accruable.
  • Compassionate Leave – 2 days leave for each occasion
  • Cultural Leave – employees are entitled to take leave for the purposes to meet the customs and/or participate in legitimate ceremonial activities.
  • Birthday Leave – employees are entitled to take one day’s leave for use within their birthday month (after 6 months)
  • Unpaid Leave and Mental Health Days
