Robin is a new member of the Jonday/Everything Fleet Family. We choose our new team members carefully and we’re proud to welcome him, with all of his experience.

Like Keith, Robin started his ‘career’ in the car rental industry as a detailer and over the years he worked himself through the ranks as a RSO, Duty Manager, Branch Manager than Operations Manager.

Robin is bilingual – English and Hindu (both Fiji Indian and Indian Hindi) and lived in Christchurch, NZ before settling in Australia. He still follows the All Blacks and Crusaders!

Fun Facts about the famous Rugby Union Team — in the 23-year history of the Rugby competitions, the All Blacks have won the trophy 16 times! No wonder Robin doesn’t want to give up on them even though he is now considered an Aussie.

Robin, tell us a bit about yourself…
What’s attracted you to the car rental industry?

The fact that I could have a career that was not bounded to the indoors behind a desk. It has provided me with an opportunity to be outdoors and be physically active as well as interact with a wide range of people from all over the world thus combining my passion and allowing me to provide quality customer service with it.

What is your favourite part of the car rental /subscription industry?

I get to drive a lot of different car makes and models and best of all I get to share my personal experience with customers. It has also provided me with multiple opportunities to brush shoulders with celebrities such as Ricky Stuart, Laurie Daley and attend Adele live in concert.

While not working, what do you do?

My motto in life is to maintain a healthy and balanced work and family lifestyle. Weekends I spend time hanging with my nieces and nephews, playing cricket or rugby with them, trying out new cafes and restaurants with my wife as she’s a big foodie (happy wife, happy life 😉). I also love eating Lamb and make a mean Lamb curry.

What is your favourite car on fleet at Everything Fleet?

Last week I drove a Toyota Landcruiser to Sydney, and it was quite an experience. The car was powerful and handled the roads well.

What is your favourite road trip?

The trip with the crew from Everything Fleet that we did to Broken Hills to deliver cars for the Mad Max Film crew was a highlight for me. I got to meet the crew and this road trip provided a good team building chance as I am new to the team.

What do you think everyone should know before renting a car?
  • The Terms and Conditions which includes the fine print details.
  • Having and maintaining open communication with the customer as well as your team.
